The varsity football team had their chances to qualify for the GHSA state playoffs for the first time in school history. After controlling play for most of the game, the Patriots lost the season finale 24-20 to Landmark, thus missing out on the state playoffs. The team finished 5-5 overall and 4-4 in the Region.
Led by FeDale Hall, the team placed five players on the All-Region squad. Also named to the All Region team were Peter Giglia, Bryant Laursen, Kyle Sloter and Danny Schneider.
Hall was also named first team All-North Fulton by the Johns Creek Neighbor. Offensive lineman Alex Dixon was a second team selection. Giglia, Laursen, Schneider and Sloter, were all Honorable Mention selections.
