The Mount Pisgah Christian School boys Middle School basketball team captured the North Atlanta Metro League (NAML) championship with a 50-38 win over Mount Vernon.
After building an early first half lead the Patriots trailed by one at halftime. The second half was a roller coaster, but the three-point shooting of Trey Hansborough, defense of Ben Miller and versatility of Ronde Brownlee put Pisgah ahead for good down the stretch.
The team finished the season with a 15-1 record.
