Congratulations to Grant Thomas, Pisgah Class of 2011, who recently landed a Judicial internship with Chief Judge Mark Lewis and Associate Judge William Brogdon at Suwannee Municipal Court. Grant is a second-year undergraduate Honors student pursuing both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Georgia. He plans to attend law school.

"My success in college is due in large part to the lessons I learned and habits I developed at Mount Pisgah from teachers and administrators," explained Grant. "Mount Pisgah instilled in me a strong work ethic and desire to learn and succeed."

 

 


 

Class of 2010: Senate Intern

Congratulations to Matt Cubin (Class of 2010), who has landed a legislative internship with U.S. Senator Tom Carper. He also recently worked at the White House managing volunteers in correspondence-related work. 

Matt is pursuing a BA in Economics and Business Administration.

Class of 2008: Student of the Week

Chloe Knoblock, is featured as the University of Georgia Student of the Week on the school's website! A Mass Media major, Chloe explains how her involvement in student activities (through the University's Student Affairs office) will help her pursuit of a career in the film or entertainment industry. She also has advice for incoming freshmen.

Class of 2007: All-SCAC Team

A four year varsity baseball letterman at Sewanee: The University of the South, Joe Reilly was recently selected to the first team All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Baseball Team for the 2011 season.

Joe led Sewanee with a .425 batting average , good enough for second overall in the SCAC.   

He is also a three time All-SCAC Academic honoree.  Upon graduation in May,  he will begin his teaching and coaching career as a Faculty Fellow at The Wesleyan School in Norcross.
