Activity Fee
Each student-athlete in the Middle and Upper School will pay a one-time fee in order to participate in any athletic program during the year. This one-time fee will apply to each student-athlete whether they play one sport or three (there is not a charge for each season). In other words, this fee is paid one time for the entire 2012-2013 school year which covers the student-athlete for all the sports they participate in for the school year.
Middle School student-athletes will pay $145
Upper School student-athletes will pay $195
These fees help cover the increased expenses in the athletic department due to higher transportation costs, facility maintenance, leadership development, added athletic equipment/supply-related overhead costs and coaching stipends, all of which are going to help develop each student-athlete and make all our programs more competitive.
Our incredible Speedtracs™ system is available for all student-athletes and comes with a subscription fee to the school that this activity fee allows us to afford. We have already seen clear evidence that Speedtracs helps improve our student-athlete's speed, agility and explosion, while keeping them accountable with its online tracking program. This system has quickly become popular throughout the US. This system is utlized by over 75 high schools, specialty training organizations and several universities (Universities of Florida, Louisville, Missouri, Texas and Michigan State University to name a few). Payment for fall participation is due by 9/15/12 to allow time for all the back to school expenses to be completed. For student-athletes not participating in a sport until the winter or spring seasons the payment is due by the start of that season. Student-athletes that have not paid this fee by the respective deadline will not be eligible to play until payment is made.
