Supervision of children- (NO PETS)
Our goal for Friday Night Home games is to provide a great environment where the whole family can enjoy the many great aspects of having a true home game. We enjoy having children come to the PAC on Friday nights and want them to have a fun and safe experience.
Please understand that it is not the responsibility of anyone at the game (officer, volunteer parking attendant, another parent or another child, etc) to supervise your children. Pisgah Athletics takes on the financial burden of ensuring there are security officers on the premises and we try to maintain order among the children as we can, but we cannot be held responsible for the children or their actions. Therefore we ask that you consider the following bullet points and assist us in controlling the children by making sure your child abides by the rules. We have seen and been told of far too many close calls regarding safety and vehicle damage. Rather than being reactive to a very unfortunate situation we are choosing to be proactive by putting the following rules and consequences in place:
· The BLUE PARKING LOT behind the stadium is off limits to children as an area to play or congregate. This means no hide and seek games, no swinging from the trees or the chains around the trees, no rolling under the vehicles, no taking down the ribbons marking the Blue Lot area and no taking the stakes holding these ribbons out of the ground. We want families to enjoy this area for parking and tailgating, but unless a child is with his/her parent or guardian, this area is off limits.
· The soccer, baseball and softball fields are also off limits as indicated by the signs surrounding them. This is to protect the fields. Please remind your children to respect authority when they are reminded to stay off the fields.
· During halftime we will have someone stationed around the soccer field restroom building to keep children away. We ask that you assist with this instruction so the visiting team can have some privacy at this time.
· The grassy area between the Blue Lot/football stadium and the baseball field provide sufficient room to allow for children to play. These areas will be supervised to a degree during the game.
· Failure to abide by these rules will result in:
1). Your child's name being taken and turned in to the school for a family meeting the following week.
2). If taking the name doesn't stop the behavior then we will bring the child to the Concession Stand and have the PA announcer call for the parents of the child to meet us at the Concession Stand. Parents will then need to keep their children with them or take them home for the remainder of the game.
Concessions
-
Concessions will be available 90 minutes prior to game time:
