Mount Pisgah Christian School

Head varsity basketball coach Marvin Latham will be hosting a camp for returning middle school boys players and rising 9th graders on May 29, 30 and 31 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Drummond Center.

"The summer is crucial in the development of players and during this time players will get a understanding of the philosophies of our offense and defense but more importantly players will understand how the to play the game the Mt. Pisgah way," Latham said.

Middle School Boys Upset St. Francis

The Middle School boys basketball team picked up a big win on Tuesday afternoon with a 57-51 win over St. Francis. The Patriots were led by forward Kevin Ginty with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Zach Messinger added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists, while post player Nick Poline finished with 7 pts and 17 rebounds.

"Overall, the team just worked together, harder and for longer stretches of time than St Francis. The guys gave big performances across the board, as 9 Patriot players scored 2 or more points in the game," said head coach Greg Goodwin. "We found ourselves with a lead in the final minutes and absorbed their run when they tried to make a comeback."
