Athletics play a large role in the growth of the school and in the development of our students who learn and grow from participation and healthy competition. As members of Georgia High School Association, our athletes are challenged at a higher level of learning under the leadership of great coaches who have a passion for our mission as a school and have excellent leadership credentials.

This year, "HOME" takes on a whole new meaning when it comes to Pisgah Athletics. Until now, when we’ve been asked “Where’s the game?” and we’ve replied “Home”, most of our teams had to ask the follow-up question: “And where is Home?” After years of anticipation, Pisgah families can clearly state the answer with two simple words: “The PAC!” Pisgah Athletics now has a true home field advantage. Thanks to the continued vision and generosity of Pisgah families and school leadership, the Patriot Athletic Campus joins our esteemed Drummond Center Gym in hosting more than 150 home athletic events.

While facilities are important, it will always be a higher priority for our athletic department to assemble the best coaching staffs possible. We look for staff members to embody the three I’s (borrowed from Chik-fil-A founder, Truett Cathy):

• Instruction - What we say

• Influence - What we do

• Image - Who we are

Hebrews 12:2 says: “Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God.”

Whether it’s a 6th grader trying softball for the first time or a senior running back being recruited by the likes of Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, and the Air Force Academy, Pisgah has a place for children to develop wonderful characteristics and God-given abilities. A place where our goal as coaches is to help them keep their eyes on Jesus like they keep their eye on the ball, study how He did it as we instruct them as athletes, and finish in and with God—which is what we all want for our players, families and ourselves. Please contact me to learn more about our athletic programs.

God Bless and Go Patriots!
