College Prep. Life Ready.

Being prepared for college is important. But to be successful, today's students need much more. They must be ready to face the challenges of life. That's the Pisgah difference. The essence of Mount Pisgah Christian School's mission is best described as College Prep. Life Ready.

The Pisgah standard is high – excellence. The administration and faculty value the unique nature of each student and are dedicated to the academic success of each individual. Faculty Spotlight: Katie Keller

According to her peers: "Katie Keller is the personification of Above and Beyond. Her passion for students and their social and spiritual development is obvious in everything she does. She holds her students to a high standard across all her Bible classes and she believes in the importance of simply 'being there.'

Whether it’s cheering at a soccer game, supporting Arts students at performances, or simply enjoying frozen yogurt with them, Katie shows that her love for and dedication to her students goes far beyond the 55 minute period. She would never think that ALL of the effort and hard work she puts into EVERY day is anything but what she expects of herself and the gifts she's been given."

Curriculum SpotlightTechnology Integration

iQuest, mini-mesters, and interactive technology are just a few ways Pisgah delivers on its mission: College Prep. Life Ready.

“In Spanish, students listen to podcasts in English, accompanied by power point presentations to become acquainted with grammar modules before they are taught in class. Students also participate in a moderated chat room where they use Spanish in a real-life, real-time setting.” Cera Marsh, Spanish Teacher

“We compress lessons recorded using the SmartBoard, which are then be posted online so students who miss class can see (and hear) what was taught that day.” David Rogers, Math Teacher
