PISGAH SPOTLIGHT

Interactive Instruction

Pisgah's Prep School leads the way in innovation: iQuest, Mini-mesters, and interactive technology are just a few ways Pisgah delivers on its mission: College Prep. Life Ready.

“In Spanish, students listen to podcasts in English, accompanied by power point presentations to become acquainted with grammar modules before they are taught in Spanish class. On Wednesday nights students participate in a moderated chat room in which they can use Spanish in a real-life, real-time setting.” Cera Marsh, Spanish Teacher

“I use a microphone and Smartboard to record lessons. We compress the lessons, which can then be posted on the web so students who miss the class can see (and hear) what was taught
that day.”
David Rogers, Math Teacher
